Why work with me?
Real Tools.
Real Experience.
Real Heart.
Because I’ve danced through the highs and lows of life — and I’ve learned the hard way how to move with love, presence, and purpose. Success, for me, isn’t about what I do or who I am on paper. It’s about how I show up — in my integrity, in my relationships, in my quiet moments when no one is watching. It’s about how I treat people, the planet, and myself.
It’s the degree to which I am at peace, feeling the joy of living, loving, and being loved unconditionally. And it’s the extent to which I know, love myself that empowers me to express with clarity, truth, and care — creating ripples of love and impact in every connection I make.
I grew up chubby, barefoot, and often naked in the Southern African bush — playing rugby, getting into mischief, and learning early the freedoms, risks and responsibilities of being wild and real.
Later, I wore patent leather Cuban heels and danced in grand international ballrooms around the world — on land, sea, stage, and screen.
From grounded earth to glittering spotlight. From ballrooms to breakdowns. I’ve followed my passions without attachment to the outcome — and in doing so, I’ve lived a life more abundant than I could have imagined.
Because when you live with radical honesty, alignment, and love, the Universe tends to show up in extraordinary ways.
My journey from without to within

From Breakdown to Breakthrough
In 2013, I started Dance Savoir Faire — meaning “To Know How” — as an attempt to rebuild trust in myself and in life after a “failed” marriage and a 9-year dance partnership ended. What followed was the beginning of my healing journey.
By 2016, I was burnt out: chronic pain, depression, insomnia, blurred vision, disordered eating — I was cooked.
I had to do something drastic. So I surrendered.
I sold everything and went travelling for nearly a year — a spiritual quest, of sorts — where I reconnected with life, rediscovered myself, and recommitted to aligning all aspects of my being.
I wanted to live in service of people and planet. I even went vegan for 9 months (but that’s a story for the blog!).
Every single person on this planet wants to be seen and heard — even if they hold unconscious beliefs that being "seen" is dangerous. Many of us reject ourselves before anyone else can.
Yes, being seen is vulnerable. It invites the possibility of rejection.
But it’s also the only way to truly connect, to truly live, to truly dance with life.
I have come to learn that one can read all the books, listen to all the podcasts, meditate for hours, cold dip, do plant medicine, and dance alone etc. But until one actively and honestly engages oneself to another be it person, place or project, and becomes compassionately curious and present to the nature of the relationship…there is no real satisfaction, healing or growth. Our sense of self is sculptured reflected in the mirror of others. Real life only happens in deep, reciprocal relationships.
My Philsophy

The Bigger Picture
We are living in a time of polarisation and validation, where every demographic is fighting to be seen — often at the cost of seeing others. This is no surprise. Suppression breeds a cry for validation. But the side effect? Isolation.
Again, I say: Life is not a fight. It is a dance. And everything — everything — is valid, necessary, and interconnected in this shared choreography of existence.
On this dance floor of life, I’ve had many personal and professional partnerships — Some brief, some long. Some easy, some deeply challenging. Some heart-breaking, some heart-filling. All profoundly formative.
As a passionate romantic, I’ve always loved LOVE — whether in the form of a relationship, a dance, or a creative project. I believe co-creation is not just the best way, but the only way to truly succeed.
I now find myself in a beautiful, honest, and loving relationship where I can be fully myself — complex, creative, and held. It is a blessing to be building a life and business together rooted in shared passion and integrity.

A Life of Relationship
What drives me
I am deeply passionate about healing and balancing the masculine and feminine within all of us — in relationships, communities, and within ourselves, regardless of gender.
And perhaps it’s no accident that I now sit on the edge of one of the most judged demographics:
A “middle-aged white male.” But I am not what that label suggests. Most men aren’t.
Yes there are many men who abuse power and taint it for the rest. And their are also many woman who are equally out of balance due to surviving and competing within patriarchy.
This is why I feel called to this work — healing relationships for the benefit of people and the planet.
I believe the pain of disconnection to self, others and nature is the root of over-consumption, addiction, and ecological destruction.
And at the root of it all is our very human, primal need for balance between authenticity and belonging. Where we can say: “I am okay, and you are okay.”
Where leading and following becomes “power with,” not “power over.”
I see life, mirrored between the micro & macro, through metaphor and metaphysical patterns.
My students have often told me I should write a book called Andrew’s Analogies — it’s coming, but first, this website!
Dance ~ when done with the right intention — is a profound reflective tool for knowing and transforming oneself.
The body is the subconscious made visible — and movement is the language it speaks.
My work is integrative which can include dance or not. Depending on what best serves you. And it can be done online or in person.
In all my work, whether it involves dance or not, I help people:
• Explore and transform subconscious beliefs
• Reconnect with their true values and rhythms
• Restore harmony between mind, body and soul
• Learn to love, trust and express their truth with integrity
Whether it’s a one-on-one or couples session, or a community event or a corporate team day — I meet people where they are, with non-directive love, honesty and compassion.
And if I’m not the right person to help, I’ll connect you to someone in my wide Soulhub network of incredible practitioners.

Who I Work With?
People come to me for all kinds of reasons, but at the heart of it all, they are seeking self-understanding, connection, and true expression.
Here are some of the people I’ve supported:
• Individuals seeking joyful ways to shift their mental/physical state
• Cancer patients seeking peace in mind, body, and spirit
• Recently divorced individuals needing safe emotional expression
• Couples looking to deepen their connection
• People navigating major life transitions
• Singles seeking meaningful relationships or social ease
I’m not here to “fix” you. I am not a healer...only you can heal you! But I’m here to walk with you, reflect you, and dance with you through the ups and downs of your becoming.
Whether you need a temporary tow-truck or a life jacket — or just someone to walk beside you — I’m here.
Let’s explore the big questions together.
Let’s go beyond the words.
Let’s listen to what the body wants to say.
Shall we dance?
